Duration: 20 days

Day 1: Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa to be taken to your hotel

Day 2: Johannesburg – Mpumalanga. Drive through landscapes characterized by mountains, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests to Graskop.

Day 3: Mpumalanga – Kruger National Park. Take a scenic drive along the Panorama Route with stops at Blade River Canyon and Bourke’s Luck Potholes to Kruger National Park.

Day 4: Kruger National Park. Enjoy game viewing safaris.

Day 5: Swaziland. Cross the border into the mountainous Kingdom of Swaziland and discover the traditions and culture of the Kingdom of Swaziland.

Day 6: Milwane Wilderness Sanctuary. Visit the Umphakatsi Chief’s homestead for a Swazi cultural experience.

Day 7: Milwane. Zululand, South Africa. Travel to iSimangoliso Wetland Park and enjoy a boat cruise on the St Lucia estuary, getting up close to the hippos and crocodiles that inhabit the lake.

Day 8: Zululand. Game viewing safari in Hluhluwe-iMoholzi Game Reserve in search of endangered black and white rhinos.

Day 9: Zululand. Drakensberg. Head to The Cavern private mountain reserve, adjacent to the Royal Natal National Park.

Day 10: Drakensberg. Explore uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park.

Day 11: Malealea, Lesotho. Experience traditional Basotho life in the Kingdom of Lesotho.

Day 12: Malealea. Pont trek excursion.

Day 13. Cradock, South Africa. Drive to the historical Karoo town of Cradock.

Day 14. Addo Elephant National Park. Head to a unique wildlife habitat, famous for the Addo elephants. Enjoy an afternoon on a game drive. Evening watch nocturnal animals.

Day 15. Tsitsikamma. Journey along the Garden Route to Storms River Village.

Day 16. Tsitsikamma. Explore the Tsitsikamma Forest.

Day 17. Tsitsikamma. Oudtshoorn. Visit “The Heads” in Knysa, travel over the Outeniqua Mountains and visit the Cango Caves, before you overnight in the ostrich capital of the world.

Day 18. Cape Town. Head to Stellenbosch for wine tasting and a cellar tour. Once in Cape Town, the afternoon is at leisure.

Day 19. Cape Point tour to the Good Hope Nature’s Reserve. Out Bay, Simons Town, the Boulders Beach penguin colony and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day 20. Transferred back to the airport for flight back home.
